Adult Sunday School
Adult Christian fellowship and Christian learning are the twin aims of this group. Everyone is invited. You're welcome to drop in as you are able. We meet each Sunday between the worship services.
Sunday's Cool!
Sunday school classes for all ages are offered each Sunday during the regular school year from 9:30-10:30 a.m. between services.
ALPHA
ALPHA is the ten-week course on Christianity that is revitalizing the Church all over the world. Many people are introduced to Christ for the first time through an Alpha Course; it is has also proved to be an excellent refresher for Christians maturing in their faith.
New Disciples
This "Welcome to Immanuel" is a three-week course for people who have recently joined Immanuel or who are planning to join soon. The course will include the basics of the Christian faith, a personal spiritual gifts inventory, and topics in discipleship. We also discuss the Lutheran perspective on Christianity and how we live together as the congregation of Immanuel.
Confirmation Classes
7th, 8th and 9th grade students attend the confirmation program, meeting on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Our new program is the Head to Heart ministry system from Faith Inkubators.
Immanuel Women of the ELCA (WELCA)
Mary Circle, Martha Circle and Soul Sisters meet for monthly Bible study and fellowship. Mary Circle meets on the second Tuesday each month at 1:30 p.m., either in the Conference Room or the Fireside Room. Martha Circle meets on the third Tuesday each month at 7:30 p.m. either in homes, or the Fireside Room. Soul Sister meets on the 4th Tuesday each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room.
MOM's Group
Meet on second Tuesday of each month - mornings from 8:30-11:00 a.m.
Men's Bible Study
Two weekly Bible study groups for men are currently meeting--Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. and Wednesday mornings at 6 a.m.
Youth ALPHA
Youth ALPHA is a look at Christianity and how to apply the teachings of the Bible to everyday teenage life. All high school youth are invited to come.
Women's Book Study
Read a Christian book once a month and join our lively discussion group that meets on the last Monday evening each month from 7:30-9 p.m. The book is chosen each month by the group.
AA & Al Anon
Al-Anon meets every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the Fireside Room.
